Initial Intake Appointment ($250):
The intake appointment is a comprehensive first session where we gather background information, explore current concerns, and begin understanding your child’s emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs. This session helps get a broad understanding of the child and family and lays the foundation for treatment planning.
Ongoing Therapy Sessions ($170 | 40–55 minutes):
These sessions are focused on supporting your child through consistent therapeutic work, including building coping skills, emotional regulation, and confidence, tailored to their individual needs and progress.
Parent Coaching Sessions ($85 | 30 minutes):
These brief sessions provide focused support for parents and caregivers, offering guidance, strategies, and tools to help manage challenges at home and strengthen your child’s progress outside of sessions.
Care Coordination / Consultation ($25 per 15 minutes):
When helpful and with appropriate consent, I offer consultation with other professionals involved in your child’s care, such as school counselors, pediatricians, or other providers. This collaboration helps ensure consistent support across settings and promotes better coordination of care.
Frequently Asked Questions
I believe a key component to successful therapy is having a genuine, strong therapeutic relationship and I work to establish that with all of my clients. During our intake appointment we will discuss what led you to therapy for yourself or for your child and how long these challenges have persisted. I will then ask about you or your child's background. You can answer whatever questions you feel comfortable with. Starting therapy this way helps to give me a fuller picture of your life, the concerns you have, and the roots of the challenges you are facing. Starting therapy this way allows us to begin from a strong foundation and will help determine the therapeutic approach that will work best for you.
Check your out-of-network benefits: These are typically in the Summary of Benefits that is included in a member information packet or on your insurance company website
Call your insurance company to verify: The best way to be absolutely sure of your benefits is to call your insurance company member services line and ask:
What is my out-of-network deductible for outpatient mental health?
How much of my deductible has been met this year?
What is my out-of-network coinsurance for outpatient mental health?
Do I need a referral from an in-network provider to see someone out-of-network?
How do I submit claim forms for reimbursement?
Ask me for a superbill: I will provide a document that you send directly to your insurance company at the end of each month which will detail how many sessions you’ve had and the total fee.
Receive reimbursement! You’ll need to pay the entire session fee at the time of service, but depending on your specific plan, your insurance company will mail you a check to reimburse a portion of the cost.
I offer both in person and telehealth (video-conference) services. Due to state licensing requirements, I can only conduct telehealth therapy with clients physically located in Massachusetts at the time of the service. Telehealth sessions are conducted via a HIPAA secure platform accessible via a computer or mobile device.
